Automatic form tracking

Amazingly easy: Automatically send us all <Form> data - when visitors fill in a form.

Automatic Form tracking working is can be enabled very easily, this way we will auto-magically capture and track all (contact) details or form data submitted by ANY form.

Additionally, if you build the form-fields to match the placeholder names we use, we will populate the LeadBoard with this data. Alternatively, you can send you own custom data to LeadBoxer, it will appear under Lead Properties on your Lead.

Step 1. You can turn on automatic form tracking easily by simply adding &form to your standard Leadboxer script:

<script type="text/javascript" defer="defer" src="//"></script>

Step 2. Once the code is in place and form data has been submitted, go to the leadboard and you can see this information in the App.

Step 3. (optional) Adjust your form fields to match our pre-defined properties, for full integration in our app interface. More about  Capture form data to enrich your leads

<script type= "text/javascript"
defer= "defer" src= "//"></script>

<form name= "myform" method= "post" action= "">
<input name= "email" type= "text" id= "email" value= "" />

<input name= "company" type= "text" id= "company" />
first name:
<input name= "firstName" type= "text" id= "firstName" />
last name:
<input name= "lastName" type= "text" id= "lastName" />
phone number:
<input name= "phoneNumber" type= "text" id= "phoneNumber" />
<input type= "submit" name= "submitForm" id= "submitForm" value= "Click to Submit" />

When you implement the code, your data will appear on your LeadBoard. You can check on this image bellow how your input fields and form data will affect your Lead:

Implementation notes

  • The field names that are automatically captured are taken from the 'name' of the form element
  • The form submit button needs to be type='submit'

Full control

If you prefer full control over the data that is being captured and submitted, you can do the work with javascript and use maps, this is for the more advanced javascript programmer. Details can be found on the support page called Capture form data to enrich your leads
